So just who is "The Ledge?"

In words and music, this page will hope to explain the wonders and mysteries surrounding the career of The Legendary Stardust Cowboy. While these pages have the blessing of Mr. Stardust (see the letter below), there is nothing commercial or "official" about what you see here. It's just an attempt by a lot of friends and fans to bring The Ledge to life.

Here's a small sample of the song that started it all (a 1980's version): Paralyzed (240K .au sample). We've also provided a clip of the Ledge reciting some of the lyrics(200K .au).
Here's the letter from The Ledge that started us down the road to these pages.....

In His Own Words: The legendary autobiography of 1969

Filmaker Tony Philputt is just finishing his tribute to Mr. Stardust, Cotton Pickin' Smash!

Come back soon (early April?) and we'll have all the news from and about the Ledge!

Did you know The Ledge was also a photographer?

Ledge Letters
Explaining "the NASA connection"

Yes, he's back... again.... joined by The Altamont Boys, singing his brains out and bringing the likes of the slide rule constructive criticism onto the Stardust Cowboy ranch. All the madness, plus an incredible cover of Bowie's "Space Oddity". We'll have a song online soon, but meanwhile, you can get the record here
